Feeds I Read Page | Other Feedly Friday Posts
Welcome to my continuing series of posts where I am going to highlight one or two feeds I follow in Feedly. Technology feeds only, though I keep up with other things like theme park news in there too.
Feedly is an RSS reader that you can use that is free for a very reasonable number of RSS feeds. It is the best way to follow a large number of websites and see what is new.
This week’s feed is one of the best around these days (there are a few other really great ones too, some definitely planned for upcoming posts, but I would love to hear about any you know about that aren’t in my list, so far!)
If you are a SQL Server user, you no doubt heard of this one:
SQL Server Central – Articles
Managed by (who else), the Voice of the DBA Steve Jones, who was the second entry in this Feedly Friday list, SQL Server Central is a little bit of everything. Articles, blogs, editorials, newsletters, etc. about the computing world. This week’s entry is about the feed specifically for articles.
The list is a mixture of curated articles from around the web, some from blogs that people have shared, some from edited articles, and some that are more or less linked from other sources.
Like https://CuratedSQL.com (which was the first feed I highlighted!), you may find some overlap with other sources when sources are worthy of a follow on their own, but it is worth it to follow sites individually and in aggregators. Why? Because no matter your intentions with reading blogs, there is never enough time to read them all. Seeing them highlighted a few times may just tell you “Make you read this!”
